ART INSTITUTION

Sensory design can assist in creating a new perspective for individuals containing mental health struggles such as Alzheimer’s disease. Ones’ perception on their environment is altered and mental functions are destroyed when battling this disease. The dominant symptoms can be seen through memory loss and confusion. A space is expected to be designed to give individuals a sense of nostalgia and comfort.
