POLICE STATION
A police station overlooks criminal activity throughout their district. It can be viewed as housing for correcting behavior and connecting the community. Leonardo Fibonacci’s golden ratio was applied towards the separation of zones. The division between police, public, and prisoners became an intertwining spatial experience.
A police station contains space for community, police, and prisoners. The required privacy and protection for each group becomes an interesting program layout. I utilized structural load bearing walls to act as a program separator. This exaggerated design decision allowed for opportunities for shaded areas and a privacy fence.
